Back in May, it was reported that WhatsApp is set to get support for QR Codes for users profiles. In a reply to WABetaInfo, Twitter user gustavowiesner shows that it will be added in the Settings. A tweet from WABetaInfo, the online portal that tracks the changes and upcoming features on WhatsApp, shows a screenshot of the ‘QR code - Scan, share QR code.’ As per the tweet, WhatsApp is working on this feature in the Android v2.19.189, however, it is not yet visible. The feature has been spotted on the beta version of the Android app of WhatsApp. Facebook-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp is working on rolling out a new feature that will allow users to scan QR codes easily.
